Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) | Trauma-Informed | ACT, CBT & DBT | Culturally Responsive, Identity-Affirming Care

Dedicated to guiding you through life's transitions with empathy and expertise.

I provide virtual mental health counseling for young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and personal growth. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in evidence-based practices that help clients better understand themselves, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity and compassion, at a pace that feels right for you.I strive to create an affirming and culturally responsive space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. I have a particular interest in supporting Black women, women of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and others navigating identity-related concerns, experiences of marginalization, or major life transitions, while welcoming clients from all backgrounds seeking support, healing, and growth.

About Me

My professional background spans clinical mental health counseling, intensive outpatient treatment, neuroscience research, autism services, psychoeducation, and behavioral health support. I currently provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across Maryland and Washington, DC. My clinical experience includes comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, safety planning, individual therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, and psychoeducational group facilitation.

I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related concerns, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, personality-related concerns, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, emotional dysregulation, psychotic-spectrum conditions, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a Psychiatry and Neuroscience Research Fellow at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, where I contributed to research examining sleep, stress, fatigue, cognitive performance, and behavioral health. This experience strengthened my understanding of the relationship between brain function, behavior, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. My interdisciplinary background allows me to integrate psychological, behavioral, social, cultural, and biological perspectives when helping clients better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges.
