Individual Therapy for Adults
Individual therapy is a one-on-one space for you to slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and practice new ways of coping. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
In our sessions, we’ll set goals together and move at a pace that feels manageable for you. I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic-based strategies that help you notice and regulate what’s happening in your body.
My role is to offer structure, skills, and honest reflection while honoring your lived experience and values. Over time, therapy can help you understand patterns, build emotional regulation, and create more choice in how you respond to stress.
"Healing happens at its own pace."
How Individual Therapy Can Help
In individual therapy, we can work on:
• Managing anxiety, worry, and overthinking
• Moving through depression, low motivation, or burnout
• Healing from past trauma and chronic stress
• Navigating grief, loss, or major life transitions
• Improving boundaries and communication in relationships
• Building self-compassion and a more grounded sense of self
Approaches I Use
I integrate several evidence-based approaches so we can tailor therapy to your needs:
• CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): noticing unhelpful thought patterns and practicing more balanced ways of thinking.
• ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): making room for difficult emotions while moving toward what matters most to you.
• DBT-informed skills: tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Somatic-based strategies: gently reconnecting with your body’s signals to support regulation, grounding, and safety.
